We collect as little as we can, we tell you what we do with it, and we do not sell it. Right now that is a very short list: the website stores nothing, because there is no database behind it. The detail is below, but that is the whole idea.

1. Who we are
Odiyansh Private Limited — trading as Odiyansh — is a technology, creative and cultural company registered in India, with its registered office at Katak, Odisha 753004, India. We do three things: we build our own digital products, we run a creative and digital agency for other businesses, and we are developing a platform around Odia culture.
Our products. OdyLinks is the first — a digital identity page that brings someone’s links, contact details, social profiles and work together at one shareable address. It is free to start. More products are in development.
Our agency. Odiyansh Agency provides digital marketing, branding, creative production and web and product design to businesses in Odisha and across India. In that work we act as a service provider to our clients, and any personal data we handle on their behalf is governed by our agreement with them rather than by this policy.
Who this policy covers. This policy applies to odiyansh.com and to every odiyansh.com subdomain we operate, including OdyLinks. For the personal data we collect through those sites, we are the Data Fiduciary under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 — meaning we decide why and how that data is processed, and we are accountable for it.
What this policy does not cover. Sites we link to are not ours, and their handling of your data is their own. Where a sub-brand runs on its own domain with its own backend, its own policy applies to it.
How to reach us about any of this. Write to info@odiyansh.com. It is a monitored mailbox and a person replies — general enquiries, data requests and complaints all arrive there. Put the reason in the subject line and it reaches the right place faster.
2. What we collect
You give us: your name, email address, company name, the content of messages you send us, the content you add to an OdyLinks profile, and payment details — which are handled by our payment gateway and never stored on our servers.
We collect automatically: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the site that referred you, approximate location derived from your IP address, and cookie identifiers.
We receive from others: aggregate data from our analytics providers, payment confirmations from our gateway, and basic profile details from a social login provider where you choose to use one.
3. What we actually hold today
The section above describes the categories of data this policy is written to cover, including for products still in development. What the website holds right now is much smaller, and you should know the difference.
odiyansh.com stores nothing. There is no database behind this site. When you send the contact form or the newsletter field, the message is emailed to our team and nothing is written to any store we control. There is no subscriber list, no enquiry table and no account.
There is no tracking. No analytics, no advertising pixels, no cross-site cookies, no fingerprinting. We do not currently know how many people read this page, which is a trade-off we are making deliberately.
Server logs are the exception. Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs — IP address, timestamp, the page requested — for a short period as a security and abuse measure. We do not use them to build a profile of you.
OdyLinks is different. An OdyLinks profile is an account with content you create, and that product does store data. The sections below about profiles, accounts and retention apply to it.
If this changes — if analytics are added, or a subscriber list is built — this policy changes with it, and the date at the top moves.
4. Why we collect it
We collect each category of data for a stated purpose: to provide and operate the service, to reply to you, to process payments, to understand and improve how the product is used, and to meet our legal obligations. We do not collect data speculatively for purposes we have not named here.
5. How we use it
We use your data to run the service, respond to your enquiries, process and record payments, improve what we build, and comply with the law. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
6. Public OdyLinks profiles
An OdyLinks profile is public by design. Anything you put on it — your name, photo, contact details, links and business information — can be seen by anyone with the link and can be indexed by search engines.
Only add information to your profile that you are willing to make public. You can make a profile private or delete it entirely at any time from your account settings; deletion removes the profile from our systems, though search engines may take time to drop cached copies.
7. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies. What each one does and how to change your choices is set out in our Cookie Policy.
8. Who we share it with
We share data only with the service providers we need to run the business — hosting, analytics, email delivery and payment processing — and with authorities where we are legally required to. Each provider is bound to use the data only to deliver its service to us. The current list of providers is available on request from info@odiyansh.com.
9. Where your data lives
Our infrastructure is hosted in India where available. Some providers process data outside India; where that happens, we rely on the provider’s contractual safeguards and applicable transfer rules under Indian law.
10. How long we keep it
Account data: until you delete your account, plus 30 days. Enquiry emails and form submissions: 24 months. Billing records: as long as Indian tax law requires. Analytics data: as configured with our analytics provider, in aggregate form.
11. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to erase it, nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf, and withdraw consent you previously gave. Write to info@odiyansh.com and we will respond within 30 days.
12. How to exercise your rights
Email info@odiyansh.com and say which right you are exercising — access, correction, erasure, nomination, or withdrawal of consent. Putting it in the subject line helps.
Proving who you are. We will ask you to confirm your identity before acting, usually by replying from the address the data is associated with. This is a protection for you: acting on an unverified request is how one person gets handed another person’s data.
How long it takes. We respond within 30 days. Most requests are answered much faster, because there is very little data to search — see “What we actually hold” above.
What it costs. Nothing. We do not charge for a data request and we will not make you jump through hoops to discourage one.
If we say no. We will tell you which exemption we are relying on and why. Erasure, for example, does not override a legal obligation to keep a record — but we will say so plainly rather than ignoring the request.
13. Children
Our services are not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn that we hold a child’s data without verifiable parental consent, we delete it.
14. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and regular updates to protect your data. No system is completely secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
15. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we update the date at the top. For material changes we also notify account holders by email before the change takes effect.
16. Grievance Officer
In accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the contact for grievances and for any request concerning your personal data is:
Admin, Odiyansh
Odiyansh Private Limited, Katak, Odisha 753004, India
info@odiyansh.com
Write with “Grievance” in the subject line. We acknowledge within 24 hours and aim to resolve within 15 days.
17. Complaints and grievances
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, or with a response you received from us, write to Admin, Odiyansh at info@odiyansh.com with “Grievance” in the subject line.
We acknowledge every grievance within 24 hours and aim to resolve it within 15 days. If resolving it will take longer, we will tell you why and give you a date.
Tell us what happened, when, and what you would like done about it. If your complaint is about a specific message, request or profile, include enough detail for us to find it — we cannot search for something we cannot identify.
If we cannot resolve it between us, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 gives you the right to complain to the Data Protection Board of India. You do not need our permission to do that, and nothing in this policy limits that right.
Questions
Write to info@odiyansh.com and a person will reply. If you are exercising a right under this policy, say so in the subject line — it gets the message to the right place faster.
Still unclear?
Ask us directly.
Policies are written to be precise, which does not always make them easy. If something here affects a decision you are about to make, ask rather than guess.
